266,000 new jobs promised by the Coalition in the five years
The Coalition is to launch a new plan today aimed at putting more people at work.
The plan does warn that countries will have to work harder to attract investment as well as workers.
The plan confirms that the quality of life on offer will be key to attracting skilled workers and creating more employment for the future.
The main goal of the plan is to make Ireland “the best place to succeed in business delivering sustainable employment and higher standards of living for all”.
The plan aims to add 266,000 extra jobs in the next five years, leading to more people at work in Ireland, resulting in unemployment falling.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny says in the report that, “Every part of the country is expected to benefit, with unemployment falling to within 1pc of the national average in every region.”
