Avure Expands to New Location Following Record Sales
US-based Avure Technologies is experiencing unprecedented growth and interest in the food market for High Pressure Processing (HPP) as companies and consumers alike seek safer food with longer shelf life. Indeed, Avure Technologies has reported its best year ever with first quarter 2014 sales already ahead of previous quarterly records.
“We’ve made significant strides over the past few years to build upon our leadership in the HPP industry by positioning ourselves to better serve existing and new customers,” says Jeff Williams, CEO of Avure HPP. “It started with the development of new service programs designed to ensure customer performance requirements and maintenance goals. Now that we have that in place, as well as our new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility up and running in Middletown, OH, we’re proud to announce our plans to locate a new global headquarters in the Cincinnati area.”
The new headquarters will house an innovation center, complete with new test kitchen, microbiology lab, HPP center, offices, and a learning pavilion for those new to HPP.
“We are very excited to announce this expansion,” comments Matt Rutherford, Avure Senior VP of Business Development and Global Sales. “This will allow us to further support customers as they enter new product categories while working diligently on expanded applications research. This, coupled with our increasing partner network of HPP tolling services providers, will serve as our framework for continued growth.”
The Cincinnati area expansion follows a series of significant milestones for the company. Earlier this year, Avure Technologies received the coveted 2013 Spirit of Excellence Award from Hormel Foods Corporation for performance in areas such as system productivity, throughput, and on-time parts shipment.
Also making headlines this year was the opening of the Avure HPP Parts Distribution Center near Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, a critical component of ensuring on-time delivery of replacement parts to Avure’s customer base throughout Europe and parts of Asia.
Locating the new Avure Innovation Center and headquarters in the Cincinnati area will allow for improved levels of collaboration between the operations, engineering and commercial organizations as well easy access to the company’s manufacturing facility in Middletown, a town just north of Cincinnati.
