Board Game Manufacturer Backspindle Games Kick-starts Global Ambition
Backspindle Games in Newtownards is implementing a Kickstarter campaign for its MourneQuest board game targeting the international hobby market. The MourneQuest board game is filled with creatures and characters from the Irish fantasy novel of the same name by Garry McElherron. Invest NI’s support has been instrumental in bringing the concept of MourneQuest to life. Its technical experts helped us to create the game’s 3D sculptures which have been generating encouraging feedback from gaming enthusiasts.
“The help we’ve been offered previously to exhibit and market our product offering at gaming conventions such as Gen Con has resulted in new export business and increased our profile among key influencers.”
