CPL Resources to create 200 new jobs
Recruitment company CPL Resources announced the creation of 200 skilled, operational roles across the Group’s extensive branch network in the next two years.
These roles will include high value senior positions in Global Sales and Digital, and roles at varying levels in Recruitment, Sales and Marketing. The jobs will be across the organisation in Dublin, the UK and Eastern Europe.
“There’s been a strong uplift in business which is why we are hiring so many people. We work with both Irish and international companies, many of which are expanding, both in Ireland and abroad,” said Anne Heraty, CEO, Cpl.
“The Irish market is vibrant and this is a welcome development for the many skilled candidates who moved abroad during the downturn. Cpl is committed to bringing home 3,000 Irish workers from abroad in 2016. In coming weeks we will launch our Christmas ‘Bring them home’ campaign as we did last year. Our aim is to complement any governmental initiatives in this area,” Heraty concluded.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD welcomed the announcement: “Employment in Ireland is growing at the fastest rate of any country in Europe, and unemployment has come below 9% for the first time since 2008. The challenge now is to build on this, and today’s announcement from CPL that it is directly creating an extra 160 jobs in Ireland and a further 40 in overseas markets is a very welcome boost and further confirmation of the strong growth that’s happening. I wish Anne and the team every further success”.
