Direct Flight Service from Dublin to Mexico

It has recently been announced that the Dublin Airport will be providing direct flights to Cancun, Mexico.
This project was first announced about a year ago as a way to improve travel for those who wish to travel abroad for a summer holiday, and beginning June 13th, Falcon Holidays and Thompson will be providing weekly flights for six weeks to Cancun.
In 2015, the Mexican Tourism Board reported a rise in the number of Irish tourists in Mexico since the previous year. Overall, they discovered that Ireland has the highest tourism presence in Mexico when compared to other European countries.
This tourism rate is expected to remain high in 2016 as the Irish economy recovers.
