Enterprise Ireland plans to pull its global staff back to Ireland in order to assist exporters in finding new markets as a way to put less reliance on the UK.
The staff is intended to come together for a week-long think-in at the beginning of October so that they can consult companies about new trading markets. They will work with these companies individually to discuss relevant markets.
By introducing alternative markets, the company believes that this is the best long-term plan to cope with several issues that might arise due to the Brexit
Enterprise Ireland has 32 offices around the world, and they expect to have around 80 advisors at this event.
