Find out the latest technology trends at the SolutionsPT Roadshow
Industrial IT solutions provider, SolutionsPT, is hosting a special event in Ireland focusing on ‘The Evolution of Industrial IT’.
Taking place on Wednesday 4th November at the K Club in Kildare, the Irish leg of the roadshow will provide best practice guidance for designing industrial IT infrastructures, with topics covering resilience, security and system flexibility.
This year, along with its key industrial IT partners Wonderware UK, ACP ThinManager and Stratus Technologies, SolutionsPT will be showcasing the latest technology trends that will drive the future of Industrial IT.
Delegates will have the opportunity to listen to presentations from a host of industry experts, including Andrew Graham, Wonderware Ireland product manager, who will deliver a presentation addressing recent SCADA HMI advancements and the move towards object-based template designs and centralised deployment.
Experts from SolutionsPT will demonstrate how organisations can build intelligent industrial IT infrastructures, including centralised management of SCADA with ACP ThinManager, through to industrial mobility and the integration of wireless networks.
SolutionsPT will dissolve the complexities associated with virtualisation technology, including the benefits of deploying Stratus fault-tolerant platforms to run virtualised systems that deliver higher levels of resilience than traditional IT-type deployments. Delegates will also learn the essential steps they need to take to secure and protect their IT infrastructures.
Tony Mannion, industrial IT business unit leader at SolutionsPT and host of the event, said: “Having attracted a large number of attendees to last year’s Ireland roadshow, we are delighted to see this great event growing year-on-year. The event has been tailored to take delegates on a journey of how best to utilise their IT infrastructure and secure it for the future.
“SolutionsPT is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by manufacturers and finding industrial IT solutions for these problems. This event should be a must-attend for manufacturing organisations in Ireland which are searching for ways to maximise availability, efficiency and security whilst ensuring return on investment from their existing plant floor systems.”
Other topics to be covered at the event will include data management solutions, evolving mobile architectures, industrial network design and insight into how manufacturers can reduce costs and improve efficiency and reliability by implementing virtualisation technology.
At the event, SolutionsPT will also be demonstrating some of the latest technology to be released from ACP, Stratus Technologies, Belden and ecom, including the world’s first Zone 1 rated mobile tablet.
The roadshow is free to attend, but delegates must register in advance.
