Horizon Life Sciences Group, solutions provider to the life sciences sector globally, is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of the company of Thomas Merle, as an Executive Director.

Thomas Merle brings over 25 years of experience in project management across international, large and complex CAPEX projects, as well as high value technology and production solutions for local companies, start-ups, large pharmaceuticals, corporations and global players.

Prior to this appointment Thomas was Director and Group CEO at FrymaKoruma, where he led the company for more than 16 years, holding various management positions. Throughout his career, Thomas has held numerous senior management functions as Division Manager, Director, Chairman and Group CEO.

Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from German University of Applied Sciences, Stuttgart and speaks five languages. Additionally he completed the international Senior Management Program by St. Galler Business School in leadership, strategy, finance as well as business in Asia.
