Industrial Production increased by 17.1% in November 2016
Production for Manufacturing Industries rose 17.1 percent in November 2016 compared with the previous month, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office on Friday. On an annual basis production for November 2016 increased by 14.8% when compared with November 2015. The seasonally adjusted volume of industrial production for Manufacturing Industries for the three months September 2016 to November 2016 was 3.9% higher than in the preceding three month period.
The “Modern” Sector showed a monthly increase in production of 16.3% for November 2016 and an annual increase of 16.0% compared with November 2015. There was a monthly increase of 2.2% in the “Traditional” Sector for November 2016 and an annual decrease of 0.8% compared with November 2015.
Turnover increased by 9.3% for Manufacturing Industries in November 2016 when compared with October 2016. On an annual basis turnover increased by 10.0% when compared with November 2015.
