Licence Agreement Between AG Barr and Snapple Beverage Corp
UK drinks company AG Barr has entered into a ten year licence agreement with US-based Snapple Beverage Corporation, a subsidiary of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group. Under the agreement, which commences on January 2015, AG Barr will have the exclusive rights to sell, market and distribute the Snapple brand in the UK and certain other EU territories.
In addition, the two companies will work in partnership to identify further expansion opportunities in European markets where Snapple is currently not available.

Founded in 1972 by three childhood friends, Snapple was started in Greenwich Village, New York and is now available throughout the United States. Snapple prides itself on developing, producing and marketing a wide variety of premium beverages, including ready-to-drink iced teas, juice drinks, 100% juices and water. DPS is a leading producer of flavoured beverages, marketing Snapple and 50-plus other brands across North America and the Caribbean.
