The Snack People, a brand new healthy snack delivery service has been launched to businesses nationwide, following a 6 month research and testing period. The Snack People is the sister brand of The Fruit People, a leading office fruit box specialist in Ireland established in 2013 by company owners and health-conscious brothers Barry and Brian Dennis.

Initially working from a building on the family property, they soon outgrew this and moved to a 3,500 sq m unit, where they operated out of before moving to a new 9,000 sq m warehouse unit in January 2019. The move was a key milestone for the company and a reflection of the continuous growth of the business, which now has 40 employees.

Created with the same commitment and values as The Fruit People with a mission to provide a one-stop solution for stocking the office pantry, The Snack People launches as the next evolution in the company’s continued growth. The Snack People are on a mission “to take care of your body and mind, when working,” says Barry Dennis, owner/Director of The Snack People. “We’re excited to be launching this new offering and we’re proud to be a small part of the change we’ve witnessed over the last few years which sees companies increasingly prioritising the health of their employees.”

The company is constantly looking for new ways and offerings to satisfy the needs/requirements of office pantries but they are always selective in what they launch. As the nation continues to become more health conscious, and people seek the best quality out of an impulsive snack choice, employers are using food to improve workplace culture. According to a survey by ZeroCater ‘60% of employees consider office snacks to be one of their top 3 job perks.’ In support of this fact, The Snack People are now offering quality and healthy snack options along with great customer service and a promise to change the snack menu month-to-month so that employees don’t get bored!
