‘Real-time’ Data Streaming Technology Firm Chooses Belfast For New Technology Hub
London- and Silicon Valley-based Push Technology is setting up a new eight person technology support centre in Northern Ireland, to augment the company’s global expansion plans. Push Technology specialises in real-time data streaming technology for business applications.
Its Diffusion Real-Time API Management Platform delivers centralised data management, optimisation, and integration that simplifies application development, reduces infrastructure requirements, and speeds time-to-market. Leading brands across industries such as financial services, transportation, energy, retail, healthcare, eGaming and Internet of Things (IoT) use Diffusion to fuel revenue growth, customer engagement, and business operations.
Following Push Technology’s success in the UK and EU markets, the company is rapidly expanding in the US and Pacific Rim markets. The new Belfast team will provide technology expertise and services to Push Technology’s global customer base, in support of the significant global adoption of real-time solutions.
Sean Bowen, CEO of Push Technology, commented: “The ever-expanding need for secure, highly-scalable, event-driven data to be distributed in real-time is driving our success worldwide. To support our growth and facilitate services delivery, we have chosen to locate our hub centre in Northern Ireland. Belfast stands out for the strength of its technology services workforce and strong supply of talent.”
Invest Northern Ireland has offered total assistance of £48,000 towards the new positions.
Derek Andrews, Head of International Investment, Invest NI said:“Push Technology is a welcome addition to our thriving Technology sector. This is the latest in a number of investments in the sector which is testament to NI’s strength as a hub for technology services. The company’s expansion into Northern Ireland will create 8 new high quality jobs. The jobs, which include a range of software engineering, sales and marketing roles, will offer a range of employment opportunities for graduates and professionals, attracting above average salaries for the region.”
