Tech firm secures $6m funding

Limerick based technology company Teckro has raised $6 million from a number of investors including a top US technology investment fund.
The funds will be used to support “further development and expansion” of the Limerick-based mobile software platform for clinical trials.
The investment was led by San Francisco-based Founders Fund, with participation from Enterprise Ireland and private investors. It is understood to be the fund’s first investment in an Irish company.
It brings the total amount of funding raised to date by Teckro to $7.8 million
