TelecityGroup Ireland appoints Desmond Butler as compliance manager
Dublin, 19 May 2015 – TelecityGroup Ireland, a leading provider of premium carrier neutral data centres in Europe, has appointed Desmond Butler as compliance manager. Desmond is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance assurance and delivering new technologies and expertise.
Des has more than 16 years’ experience working with international customers on information security and quality management, and has achieved new ISO certifications in energy management and security for TelecityGroup Ireland.
He previously held the role of Operations Director at Almir Business Ltd for 10 years, and previous to that was Managing Partner at Business Edge for three years. Des has also held roles including Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers Ireland, committee member on the NSAI (National Standards Association of Ireland) Quality Management Standards Committee (QMSC) and as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt expert on Enterprise Ireland’s lean consultants’ panel.
Des has a MSc (First Class Hons) in Strategic Quality Management (Lean Sigma System) from University of Limerick.
