Video | Label Apeel and Forza Supplements develop digitally-printed labels.
PN visits Label Apeel to find out how digital print is changing the development process for the business and its client Forza Supplements.
In this exclusive video, Packaging News brand director Josh Brooks discovers how Forza Supplements and Label Apeel, the Leicester-based label printer, collaborated to develop a new range of labels for the Kent-based manufacturer.
The use of digital print was crucial to the project – Label Apeel moved into digital with an HP machine around three years ago.
In the report, Nigel Davison, brand manager for Forza Supplements, explains why he wanted to use digital print for his new-look product, especially its hard-to-print logo.
Label Apeel managing director Stuart Kellock goes on to discuss how the use of the digital printer has changed his company’s role in the packaging development process, allowing both the printer and the client to collaborate in trialling and developing the label in a far shorter time than is possible using flexo or litho print.
Julia Cole of HP comments in the piece that the collaboration on the new Forza supplements range is an “incredible example of the power of the brand and the converter working together” to develop packs.
This film was produced by Metropolis Multimedia in association with HP.
